Lissodus shark hybodontian Chondrichthyes fossil elasmobranch

 

Created for a conference poster (without publication): I’ve worked on hybodont (stem?) sharks, even Lissodus, in former years. This tiny member is strange, one colleague instantly reacted like “oh, a xenacanthid tail”. Anyway, this is all based on preserved soft tissue.
